BOPPCCU Story
Bopp co-operative credit union started in the year 2009 and was fully affiliated to CUA in the year 2017 after being registered by Department of Co-operative the same year. The union was formed by the local union of BOPP PLC employees under the leadership of Mr Stephen Aryepah and Mr Felix Arthur Baidoo and was approved by BOPP management under the headship of Mr Peg Lim and Ing Samuel Avaala then the General and Estate managers respectively. Mr Solomon Nketsiah was the first hired staff to see to the realisation of the Association’s dream in 2015. It was formed to primary take care of employees’ credit facilities requested by the Associations members and later, its common bond was opened to embrace the community. BOPPCCU has its head office at Mpohor with the networked branches in BOPP Estate, Mpohor Township, Adum Banso and Benso.
